Fingerprinting services will generally be requested upon the submission of a criminal history background check, most commonly through the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
A background check is the process of collecting and compiling any criminal records for the purposes of obtaining a certification, license, or for your own use.
Often, verification can be needed for a variety of records, such as:

- Education history (high school, university, etc.)
- Social media profiles
- Driving record
- Medical records (restrictions apply)
- Volunteer services
- Adoption procedures
Ink fingerprinting can be necessary to acquiring the background check and is offered by Atlanta Fingerprinting. In order to begin, we will need your ID, our order form filled out, and the cards needed for your employer. If you do not have finger print cards, we can provide them upon request. Please note that Atlanta Fingerprinting operates by appointment.
